So in the middle of The Walking Dead episode that debuted today, 343 Industries released two Halo 5: Guardians teaser trailers that shine a little light on Halo 5: Guardian’s campaign story.  From what it looks like, it seems that the story is going to revolve around Spartan Locke and the Master Chief as they both seem to be after each other, each for different reasons.

Locke seems to think that Master Chief has betrayed humanity in some way, and Master Chief seems to think that Locke has compromised everything in order to fulfill his mission.  The two seem to be at odds in these two mirror trailers.  Why are these two being pitted against each other? Who knows.  We’ll just have to wait until Halo 5: Guardians is released on its official date of October 27, 2015.

Check out both of the trailers below.

It seems that Microsoft has learn much ever since their home entertainment-themed press conference at E3 2013.  They said that this year they were going to focus on games and boy did they deliver.  The entire 90-minute press conference was made up almost entirely of game reveals and honestly, some of these upcoming titles makes me want to actually pick up an Xbox One now, especially now that it’s $100 cheaper and Kinect-less.

Below are some of the trailers and announcements that I am most excited for from the conference.  Hopefully this shows that Microsoft is capable of listening to their fan-base and that they are able to put their focus on what matters most in the video game consumer market.  The video games!! Duh!!

The Best Thing Announced at the Microsoft E3 2014 conference: The Master Chief  Collection which will include basically every Halo game that Master Chief was a part of (Halo 1-4), access to the Halo mini-series, Halo: Nightfall, that will be directed by the legendary Ridley Scott, and access to the Halo 5: Guardians Beta, all of which is assumed will be priced at $60 to $80 for the collection.

Microsoft clearly learned from their mistakes from last year and delivered a very satisfying conference that was packed to the brim with games.  Overall, I’m satisfied.
