If you’ve been to any electronic music festivals or concerts recently, chances are you’ve seen a diamond-eyed, baseball-capped skull slapped on turntables and staring at you from sweaty t-shirts.  This image is the boney mascot for Kill The Noise, the stage name for Jake Stanczak,  a popular young producer and DJ whose uniquely intense take on electronic dance music has sent him around the world rocking venue after venue.  From packed nightclubs to sold-out festivals like HARD, Electric Daisy Carnival and Audiotastic, he has made a name for himself making bass heavy, hypnotic tracks.

Amazingly, Kill The Noise has been able to make a huge impact on his fans without having an officially released solo album.  With the upcoming release of his debut EP “Roots,” KTN will release a four-track collection that will allow him to show off his musical influences and hint at exciting new frontiers for him to produce in.  The title track off the EP is a tribal hit that is built around techy basslines and massive drums.  “Jokes On You” is a memorable club hit that has huge detuned riffs and vocals from KTN himself.  “My World” is built around high-energy laser synth sounds and the closing track “Perfect Combination” offers an infectious hook and lots of feel-good disco vibes.

“Roots” will be the inaugural release on Slow Roast Records, a new imprint founded by Kill The Noise and world champion Deejay Craze, distributed by the indie powerhouse Fools Gold.  This will help set the stage for future releases from fellow associated acts such as Senior Stereo, Klever and more music from KTN and Craze themselves.  Keep an eye out for releases through their new label and watch some of Kill The Noise’s biggest hits and remixes below.  They are pretty much just plain awesome!
