The Lawhon brothers band, Pacific Air, previously known as KO KO, has begun releasing songs from their upcoming first studio album, “Stop Talking.” The album is set to be released on June 11, 2013.

The brothers released 3 songs back in 2012 on the album Bandcamp and, a week later, received a record deal from Republic Records. Because so many other groups were using the name “KO KO,” the group decided to change their name to Pacific Air.

In October 2012, the group released the “Long Live KO KO” EP. The record received critical acclaim and spawned the band’s first single “Float.” After the release of their EP, the group began touring, opening for such bands as Passion Pit, Walk The Moon, and Ra Ra Riot.

The group has a very laid back and mellow feel. Very reminiscent of fellow tour buddy, Passion Pit. To truly get a feel for the band, listen to their popular single “Float.”
