This band I just cannot stop listening to. Youngblood Hawke, formed from the breakup of their former band Iglu & Hartly, dropped their self-titled EP Album back in 2012. The EP did surprisingly well, hitting No. 3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart – and their single “We Come Running,” hit No. 7 on Alternative songs and No. 22 on the Rock songs.

This band out of California has a very youthful feel to all of their songs. The songs are all very upbeat and tend to capture the essence of summer fun and of being young. They have toured with Keane and Passion Pit and are set to do shows at the Sun God Festival May 17 in La Jolla, California, the Sasquatch! Music Festival May 26 in Quincy, Wash., and the Bunbury Music Festival July 12 in Cincinnati.

Of all of the tracks, listen to “Stars (Hold On),” my personal favorite.
